We received a notification by the arena that a conflict in scheduling has occurred in light of the upcoming Saint-Leonard Novice & Midget hockey tournament slated to occur as of December 12th to December 18th. In light of this, we are required to modify our hockey schedule.
Please take note that we will not be playing (as previously indicated on our site) the December 16th, 2016 game. Arrangements have been made with the arena to add this game (pushing out our season by one week) to April 28th, 2017. Modifications to our hockey schedule have been made in order to reflect this change and are appearing on our web-site.
In brief, our last game of the 2016 season will be played on December 9th,2016. We will resume our 2017 season as of January 6th, 2017.
Please be guided by the schedule that appears on the site for all games.

Good day gentlemen
Our current website does not have the ability to allocate ½ points when a tie period occurs. Please note that this was a manual calculation that was applied and uploaded onto our previous league website. Our new website does have an automated per period feature available to us but it does not allow for ½ points to be awarded. It does however permit us to award whole numbers instead. In order to take advantage of this automated feature we will be modifying are game point allocation structure as follows:
Moving forward each game played is worth 10 points and broken up as follows;
- Each period is allocated 2 points (3 periods X 2pts ) = 6 points
- Tie periods are worth 1 point.
- Game win is worth = 4 points.
In brief, it’s exactly the same formula used in the past but using whole numbers instead.
Changes have been applied to our website for previous games played.

The league received feedback from players recommending to have the ice resurfaced every 2 periods instead of the current format of once per game. In order to ensure consensus we will holding a vote on this matter this upcoming Friday in each team room by a show of hands.

Last Friday marked the start to our 2016/17 hockey season but more importantly the start of new era of collaboration, sportsmanship and Fun within our league. In order to set the tone of our League each team will be offered an opportunity to socialize together while enjoying Pizza and drinks. The below schedule offers every team an opportunity to socialize with each other. We have secured the arena upstairs room in order to facilitate these events.
